Abstract
The toothbrush with handle 12,12a as one piece and a replaceable head 2. The bottom part of the handle 12 contains inside a battery holder 17 and has got a removable lid 26 for replacing the batteries. Motor 14 powers drive rod 15. The housing 10 has a spring 9 at the bottom, for holding the head 2, when the head is plugged in by the way of pushing down and turning right. The guard 7 which is joined to the hollow elbow 2 at the point 7b would also lock in same way to the top outside wall of the hollow elbow 7a. Drive rod 15 rotates cylinder A 8 in the same axis as the housing. The meeting point at the end of cylinder A with cylinder B both have gear cut grooves 22,22a wherein when cylinder A rotates this also causing cylinder B to rotate perpendicular to the handle. Cylinder A is being held by a rod 4 rotating freely inside the frame 6 with a pin 5 holding it. Cylinder B is held in position also by the help of the embossed ring shaped that is designed inside of the hollow elbow 19. Cylinder B having itself a ring shaped groove cut on its near end 19a that fits into the embossed ring 19 would be kept in position making it possible for cylinder B to rotate in position without falling out.
Description
Description
L' shaped motorised toothbrush with a replaceable head This invention relates to an electric motorised toothbrush with a replaceable head that can be replaced when the bristles are worn.
0 The said toothbrush consists of a handle (body) in two parts as one piece where the lower part of the handle holds the cells (batteries), the driving motor and the driving rod that transfers the drive to the housing at the higher part of the said handle in order to create a clockwise rotation for the housing.
*ç The said toothbrush is.switched on by the button which is placed on the top end of the handle near to the second part (fig 1), rotating the drive rod that is connecting the housing with the motor (clockwise rotation)Hóusing(replaceable head holder) is placed on the higher part of the handle. -he'L' shaped hollow cuts on the housing is designed in such a way5for accommodating the actual head and transferring the rotationto the head when the head is plugged in by the way of pushing down and turning right and locking in positiori,(Same as fitting a light bulb) The replaceable head also is being kept tightly in position with the spring being placed at the bottom of the housing.
2 0 The replaceable head is made of two cylinders A and B and they have both bristles positioned on their outside wall (fig 1). when cylinder A rotates horizontally clockwise, part B automatically rotatd vertically clockwise4when the handle is held in brushing position with power on) being able to clean more part of the mouth and teeth plus gums and the inside of the upper and lower lips including tongue (When the handle is held in different position for brushing).
5-Cylinder A an cylinder B both at the meeting ends where they meet together for rotationhave each their own gear like cuts where they fit into each other for rotation. cylinder A's rotation will also rotate cylinder B while both being held inside of a hollow elbow.
o cylinder B is kept in place inside the hollow elbow at the edge by the groove that goes all the way round its cylinder where it fits inside the hollow elbow where it has got embossed ring shaped part near the edge to fit and keep the cylinder in position and allowing it to rotate freely without being separated from the hollow elbow.
Topend of cylinderAwith itsgearlikegrooveswould meetthesametopend ofgearcutgroovesof cylinder B for rotation inside the hollow elbow and is being kept in place by a short rod which comes from.the solid canter of cylinder A connecting it to the inner opposite side of the wall of the hollow elbow which is being held at that end by a frame, which allows i,s axis to rotate freely, having a locking pin at the end of the rod for keeping it in position, for rotation and not separating. Bottom part of the cylinder A would lock in the housing by pushing down and turning:right'(same way as the fitting of a light bulb) there for connecting the whole brush head to the housing ready for rotation and brushing.
Description
4 çt The outside wall of the hollow elbow would have a guard that is joined to it at one end and is free at the other end to lock in to the top part of the handle when it is pushed in and turn right (same way as fitting the light bulb) there for making the brush head and the handle tightly connected and ready for brushing.
When the toothbrush is operating the motor would rotate the rod connecting to the housing of the toothbrush's head causing cylinder A to rotate horizontally clockwise and as both cylinders is being held together by the description of the design of the hollow elbow there for Rotation of cylinder A also rotates cylinder B vertically clockwise. (When the handle is held in brushing position).
The above invention also relates to any further invention of an L shape motorised toothbrush with a handle being made insimilar manner as described above with a replaceable head)with at least one cylinder shaprush that rotates clockwise or anti-clockwise with the cylinder being made in a similar way.
