Abstract

247,076. Krabo, G. July 4, 1925. Road - traffic signals on vehicles; semaphore luminous signals. - In a signalling device of the type having a hollow pivoted arm b normally concealed within a casing a and adapted to be swung outwards by Bowden wire mechanism g<1>, g<3> and containing an illuminating lamp h, the lamp circuit is controlled by an automatic sliding-contact switch mounted within the casing and consisting of a spring p which bears upon an insulated contact o when the arm b is raised. The lamp h is of the kind having end contacts h<2> which are engaged by a fixed socket k and a spring-pressed socket h<3>. A common casing g<3> is provided for the Bowden wire g<1> and the wire q conveying current to the lamp h. The casing a is fixed to the windscreen &c. by a clip d, d<3>, Fig. 4, secured to an attachment c through which the Bowden wire g<3> passes.
