Abstract

The twin line system includes a hanging line running parallel with a running line. Washing can be drawn along the running line and concertinaed and stored in the dry under a cover either when there is rain or for overnight storage. One line will always support the washing if one of the lines fails. The cover includes a bracket that can be extended up to 3 metres for all year round outside drying. The cover may also include air vents to encourage air circulation and hook-and-loop seals.

Description

Parraline (Description Document)
A new clothes Drying line, A system so that clothes on a washing line can be concertinaed into a drying station with out being removed from the line, perfect if you are popping out for an hour when there are showers about. The parraline can also be used to store clothes overnight to avoid morning moisture, this can save time on a busy working morning, the washing can be pulled into the sunshine in seconds.
The Parraline as two parallel lines running together, the bottom line being of a new design material that allows the top line to be incorporated together with out the use of any other materials. There are 2 brackets that separate the lines at the optimum distance to allow easy pegging out and free running, also one of the brackets has a built in cover bracket, this allows for the shelter to have no ground contact leaving the lawn at its optimum size The new materials the parraline have been designed to save energy time and money. Also as the parraline will reduce the amount of C02 Gases being released by each user into the atmosphere. The new material used for the cover allows the washing to breath, yet is waterproof, the new technology encourages convection of warm air to take place this in turn will dry the clothes as they sit under the cover.
