Abstract
An exercise pant includes a pant body 10 having a carrying portion 14 formed and located between a middle chamber 11 and two tubular members 12, and a cushioning device 20 attached to the carrying portion. The cushioning device 20 includes two cushioning elements 33 attached to the rear portion of a planar member (32, figure 2) for softly engaging with the buttocks of the user, with a slot 35 between the cushioning elements to allow circulation of air. On the front portion of the planar member is a cushioning article 36, with a recess for receiving or supporting and protecting the genitals of the user. The cushioning article 36 may be separate from the planar member and attached to it by stitching or welding. The cushioning device 20 may include flaps (40, figure 7), attached to side portions of the planar member, for engaging with the user's groin.
Description
EXERCISE PANT HAVING CUSHIONING MEMBER
The invention relates to an exercise pant including a resilient or cushioning member for softly engaging with and supporting and cushioning the buttocks and the genitals of the user.
Typical exercise pants have been developed for the users of the exercisers, particularly the riders of the cycle exercisers, and comprise a trouser or pant body made of resilient or cushioning materials for resiliently and snugly attaching onto the buttock portion of the user.
For example, U.S. Patent No. Des. 370,552 to Erwin et a!.
discloses one of the typical exercise pants for resiliently and snugly attaching onto the buttock portion of the user.
However, the typical exercise pants have no pads or cushioning members for engaging with the buttocks and/or the genitals of the user and for protecting the buttocks and/or the genitals of the user such that the buttocks and/or the genitals of the user may feel hurt after long term of riding exercises.
It is accordingly an object of the invention to provide an exercise pant including a resilient or cushioning member for softly engaging with and supporting and cushioning the buttocks and the genitals of the user.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
According to the invention there is provided an exercise pant comprising:-a pant member including a chamber formed therein, and including two tubular members, and including a carrying portion formed and located between the chamber and the tubular members of the pant member, and a cushioning device attached to the carrying portion of the pant member and including a planar member having a front portion and a rear portion, and including two cushioning elements attached to the rear portion of the planar member, and including a slot formed and located between the cushioning elements, and including a cushioning article provided on the front portion of the planar member and having a recess formed in the cushioning article.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of an exercise pant; FIG. 2 is a perspective view illustrating the resilient or cushioning member of the exercise pant; FIG. 3 is an exploded view of the resilient or cushioning member of the exercise pant; FIG. 4 is an exploded view similar to FIG. 3, illustrating the other arrangement of the resilient or cushioning member; FIG. 5 is a further exploded view similar to FIGS. 3 and 4, illustrating the further arrangement of the resilient or cushioning member of the exercise pant; FIG. 6 is a perspective view similar to FIG. 1, illustrating the further arrangement of the exercise pant; and FIG. 7 is a perspective view illustrating the resilient or cushioning member of the exercise pant as shown in FIG. 6.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
Referring to FIGS. 1-3, an exercise pant comprises a trouser or pant body or member 10 including a chamber 11 formed therein for receiving the buttock portion of the user, and including two tubular members 12 for receiving the leg portions of the user, and including an attaching or supporting or carrying portion 14 formed and located between the chamber 11 and the tubular members 12 of the pant member 10 for attaching or supporting or carrying a resilient or cushioning device 20.
The cushioning device 20 includes an inner planar member 21 made of resilient or cushioning or spongy materials, two resilient or cushioning elements 22 attached to or engaged in the rear portion 23 of the planar member 21 for softly engaging with and supporting and cushioning the buttocks or the buttock portion of the user, and includes a slot 24 formed and located between the cushioning elements 22 for air circulation purposes, and includes a resilient or cushioning article 25 attached or provided on the front portion 26 of the planar member 21 and having a recess 27 formed in the cushioning article 25 for receiving or supporting and protecting the genitals of the user.
The cushioning device 20 includes an upper cover layer 28 and a lower cover layer 29 engaged onto the upper portion and the lower portion of the planar member 21 and/or the cushioning elements 22 and/or the cushioning article 25, and made of such as fabric or woven or non-woven cloth materials and attached or secured to the planar member 21 and/or the cushioning elements 22 and/or the cushioning article 25 with stitches or the like. As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the cushioning article 25 may be separated from the planar member 21 (FIG. 4) and secured to the planar member 21 with stitches 30 (FIG. 5), weldings 31 (FIG. 2) or the like.
Referring again to FIG. 2, the cushioning device 20 may include a planar member 32, two resilient or cushioning elements 33 engaged in the rear portion 34 of the planar member 32 for softly engaging with and supporting and cushioning the buttocks or the buttock portion of the user, and includes a slot 35 formed and located between the cushioning elements 33 for air circulation purposes, and includes a resilient or cushioning article 36 attached or provided on the front portion 37 of the planar member 32 and having a recess 38 formed in the cushioning article 36 for receiving or supporting and protecting the genitals of the user. As shown in FIG. 1, the cushioning device 20 may be engaged into the chamber 11 of the pant member 10 and secured to the carrying portion 14 of the pant member 10 with weldings or stitches 39 or the like.
As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the cushioning device 201 may include two flaps 40 attached to the two side portions of the planar member 32 and secured to the side portions of the planar member 32 with weldings or stitches 41 or the like for engaging with the groin portion of the user, and for protecting and preventing the groin portion of the user from scrubbing the seats of the cycle exercisers.
In operation, as shown in FIG. 1, the cushioning elements 33 may be provided for softly engaging with and supporting and cushioning the buttocks or the buttock portion of the user, and the slot 35 located between the cushioning elements 33 may be provided for air circulation purposes and for preventing the groin portion of the user from being heated, and the recess 38 of the cushioning article 36 may be provided for protecting the genitals of the user and for preventing the groin portion of the user from being scrubbed by the seats of the cycle exercisers.
