Abstract
An elasticated shoe lace 1 may have a central resilient portion. Locating members 2 may be fitted to either end of said lace and may take the form of a T shaped bar where the cross bar of said T may be engaged in a corresponding locating hole provided on either side of the tongue area of a shoe. A plurality of said laces may be fitted to each shoe. To reduce the tension on said lace and hence said shoe one of the T shaped ends is released from the corresponding locating hole in said shoe.
Description
Knot3 shoe laces This invention relates to a improved short elasticated shoe lace When putting on conventional laced up foot wear, you have to adjust the tension of the shoe lace once your feet are in the shoe I boot. then tie or bow the ends of the lace to secure your feet in the foot wear whilst ensuring that the laces do not unravel whilst you are walking.
To overcome this, the present invention proposes several short laces comprising of elasticated bendable suDport elements of which have a rigid T-bars at either end of the shoe lace replacing the conventional shoe lace tips.
Where as a conventional shoe lace is fed through all the holes of the foot wear and then the ends are tied and bowed. These short elasticated shoe laces are feed through only 2 holes at a time either cross ways or horizontally with the 1-bar at each end of the lace acting as anchors. This is repeated all the way up the foot wear until all the holes are filled. Which will secure your feet in the foot wear and insure that you laces do not loosen allowing your foot wear to slip off your feet without having to tie then off The laces are fed through two of the shoe holes either cross ways or horizontally and secured by the 1-bars at either end. This is repeated all the way up the footwear. Once fully laced you will be able to stretch & expand the shoe lace by pulling the tongue of the foot wear forward which will allow you to slip your feet in and out of the foot wear with out ever having to adjust, tie or bow he ends.
Alternatively you can release one side of the T bars from the shoe hole, insert your foot into the shoe and replace the T-bar back into the shoe hole, therefore securing you're foot wear to your feet.
Whereby the lace will enable children & person's with physical disabilities to more easily put there foot wear on unaided by others.
The knot3 shoe laces will also allow you to have less laces in your shoe if required for any reason The invention will now be described solely by way of example and with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: Figure 1. Shows a knot3 elasticated shoe lace with the 1-bar at either end which helps secures it in any shoe hole.
Figure 2. Shows how the short elasticated Knot 3 shoe lace is feed into a shoe hole and secured in place by the T-bar attachment at either end.
Figure 3. Shows a fully laced training shoe with 5 Knot3 shoe laces passed through opposite shoe holes and held in place by the 1-bars allowing you to pull the tongue of the foot wear or release one side of the shoe lace to remove or put on the footwear.
h figure 1, A Knot3 elasticated shoe lace 1 which has at either end a rigid vertical member 2.The rigid 1-bars 2 can then be fed through any conventional shoe hole and secures your feet in the footwear as demonstrated in figure 3.1 will expand by pulling the tongue of the footwear forward or released on one side by taking 2 out of the shoe hole to enable you to put on or take off your foot wear.
When the knot3 shoe lace are inserted in the shoe hole of any footwear it will simplify the task of putting on and taking off your footwear & provide more comfort to the wearer because of the laces ability it has to expand. Claim
