Abstract

245,983. Southgate, J. F. April 15, 1925. Connection.-A device for connecting, or for strengthening the connections between, parts of furniture comprises a bracket constructed by forming a single slit 5 in a metal plate 1 and bending up the metal on each side of the slit to form a pair of separated wings 2. Fig. 8 shows such a device connecting the leg 10 of a chair to the seat frame 11. The wings 2 may be shaped to correspond to the contour of the member to which they are attached, as shown in Fig. 9.
