Abstract

Magnets or electro-magnets are used to erase magnetic information held on carriers such as tickets or hotel keys. The magnets can be part of a fixed or portable device.

Description
A portable or fixed magnet specifically designed for intention of removing magnetically held information.
Common situations for this are hotel keys and certain types of tickets.
The underlying background being that once you are no longer in possession of said keys/tickets, valuable information is now accessible to any individual who holds those the keys/tickets.

Claims (1)

  1. Claims in short the concept is one of using magnetism to erase magnetically held information on things such as hotel keys and certain tickets.
    The security magnets can be portable or fixed and can be permanent magnets or electromagnets.
    There are many variations to this theme and it is the concept of a personal portable magnet designed specifically liir this purpose or fixed magnets for this purpose in such places as hotels that form the basis of this patent application.
