Description
Motorised Paint Roller Multi-use Appliance
FIELD OF THE INVENTION:
The present invention relates to a Motorised Paint Roller Multi-use Appliance, comprising a cordless, rechargeable driver (in handle), with remote, long sleeved, flexible, helical spring coupling driving roller, providing a novel DIY powered appliance with endless uses, features and advantages. These include painting, car polishing, long reach powered cleaning of windows, walls & ceilings, applying adhesives, smoothing newly hung wall paper, and obtaining unusual paint patterns, effects and finishes using roller speeds different to normal roller speeds -a new dimension in painting patterns and finishes. Powered rollers can provide even smoothing excess paint off roller after dips; and paint roller sleeves can be cleaned in solvent (or under a tap) without dismantling, saving time and labour on frequent repetitive tasks.
The optional electric vibrator provision enhances above mentioned tasks, and extends appliance versatility to novel rolling & vibrating therapeutic massage -claimed to promote stem cell production which further enhances the healing process.
EXISTING STATE OF THE ART: Although paint rollers have been known for years, to date no paint roller Appliance has been available in the public domain, with powered motorised sleeve means to propel the roller whilst painting.
Powered sleeve cleaners (for cleaning a dismantled sleeve only) are available, but these are not anticipations of the present invention, because such powered roller cleaners embodiments can not be used for applying paint.
Cleaning Roller Sleeve without Dismantling: The present invention also has the advantage, that a paint roller sleeve can be cleaned without dismantling; simply by turning motor on whilst immersing roller in a solvent or under a running tap.
Prior Art -Patent & Product Searches -No Anticipations: At the time of filing, a Worldwide Patent Database Search carried out on the European Patent Office esp(äjcenet website showed no prior art of a Multi-use Motorised Paint Roller Appliance. Product Searches on the World Wide Web showed no products available.
SUMMARY OF INVENTION: Motonsed Paint Roller Multi-use Appliance comprising stock roller sleeve, fitted on caged spool, spinning on axle, of zigzag shaped rod frame with end fixed to handle/adaptor, accommodating cordless, rechargeable, electric motor driver, incorporating small gear, driving large gear, and long flexible helical spring (rotationally sleeved around rod) which turns roller when motor turns.
Includes optional addition of electric vibrator and extension pole with remote switch.
INVENTION USES & ADVANTAGES: 1. Powered roller saves time & labour on repetitive surfacing tasks.
2. Powered rotation controls even smoothing excess paint off roller after dips 3. Controlled applying of paint, adhesives and smoothing newly hung wall paper.
4. Opens up a new dimension in paint patterns, effects and finishes.
5. Long reach powered cleaning of windows, walls & ceilings 6. Car body cleaning & polishing.
7. Versatility includes novel rolling & vibrating therapeutic massage. -claimed to promote stem cell production which enhances the healing process.
