Laminated springs. - A laminated spring is constructed with additional leaves 6 - - 9, Fig. 2, interposed between the ordinary leaves 1 - - 5 and shaped so that their natural curvature is disposed in the opposite direction to that of the ordinary leaves. The natural curvature of the additional leaves may increase as their length decreases, and these leaves may be disposed in longitudinal grooves in the ordinary leaves as shown in Fig. 4.
