Abstract

Cotton wool buds mounted on a rod are impregnated with cleanser for the removal of eye make up. Each stick is individually wrapped in a sealed packet to maintain the freshness and moisture of the swabs. The packs may be presented as multipacks with perforations to allow detachment of individual sticks. The packaging of the individual sticks is also perforated to allow easy opening.

Description
Cleanser impregnated cotton buds for the touching up' of eye make up This invention arose through the seeking of a solution to a very common problem. As a general observation, irrelevant of price, mascara has an inevitable tendency to smudge, particularly around the area underneath the bottom eyelashes.
When in your own home, this does not present itself as a particular problem as, if owned, eye makeup removing cleanser is always accessible. However in a fleeting moment between meetings for example, when a touch up' is required, you are tell scrubbing at your under-eyes with water, a technique that is ineffective. Therefore my invention, cleanser impregnated cotton wool buds, provide an excellent and convenient on the go' solution to the problem.
The key features, firstly, include the cotton wool buds themselves. As mentioned they are impregnated with an eye make-up removing form of cleanser. Both ends are employed for this task with the purpose of a bud per eye to ensure the user gets the most effective use out of each stick. This also has the additional benefit of sanitation as the use of separate ends for each eye avoids any chance of infection being passed between the two. Both ends will obviously, as a result, be moist to the touch, an element of the invention that leads onto the second key feature; longevity and freshness. This is created through the individual packaging of the sticks. Each stick is independently enclosed within a sealed packet to ensure the buds stay fresh and moist. Although these individual sticks are packaged singularly they are joined together for practicality.
This highlights another key feature; perforated edges. Tearing down the perforated edge connecting each stick can separate them. This means that the user can tear off one as and when it is needed leaving the rest intact for future use. The final key feature is how the packaging of the individual sticks is opened.
The solution is a perforated line through the middle of each to ensure both buds remain hygienic until application. I intend to include 50 cotton wool buds, all presented as described above, in a small rectangular shaped plastic container. Labels stating the product name will be on the front and flat lid of this container whilst product information will be located on the back.
All of the described key features can be seen illustrated in the drawings of my invention to follow.
Figure 1 simply illustrates the cotton bud itself. I have used reference number I to draw particular attention towards the buds, which are impregnated with the cleanser. I intend them to be like a standard cotton wool bud in terms of size and design. Figure 2 illustrates how I envisage the products to be packaged. Reference number I shows the cotton bud within its sealed packaging. I have used reference number 2 to illustrate the vertical perforated lines that link each one and enable the detachment of single or multiple sticks. Reference number 3 shows the horizontal perforated line that allows the product to be opened without the applicant having to touch either end.
