244,266. Haas, A. L. Dec. 15, 1924. Magnifying-appliances.-A magnifier of the cloth counting type is mounted on the cursor 2 of a device for measuring hardness-test indentations. A limb 4 pivoted to a vertical member 3 is fitted with a screwed socket 8 for the reception of a lens or microscope. A mirror 15 having universal movement, a mirror 9 on a cranked pin 10, are provided. The magnifier may be folded flat.
