Abstract

This invention provides a system 100 for mapping navigation in a physical space 200, comprising at least one landmark 106, 202-216 located within the physical space 200, an experience recorder 102 that is communicatively coupleable to the at least one landmark 106, 202-216, and a navigation engine 104 that is communicatively coupled to the at least one landmark 106, 202-216, wherein the experience recorder 102 is configured to interact with the at least one landmark 106, 202-216 when it is proximate the at least one landmark 106, 202-216, the at least one landmark 106, 202-216 is operative to generate an interaction record 400 and to transmit it to the navigation engine 104, and the navigation engine 104 is configured to monitor the navigation of the experience recorder 102 through the physical space 200 using the interaction record 400. A method of mapping navigation in a physical space is also provided.
