Storage container (30) comprising: an inner surface (32) defining a storage compartment (33); an outer surface (31) defining an external surface of the container; a cavity (34) disposed between the inner and outer surfaces for receiving a refrigerant; and means (40) for filling the cavity with the refrigerant. Also disclosed is an associated method.
