Abstract

A fabric pad which limits the penetration of sweat through garments. Preferably the pad is an underarm shield comprising a permeable outer layer with an adhesive rim to fix to the users skin, a cotton wool core and a moisture resistant outer layer facing the garment. The pad may be provided in various sizes and may be disposable. The pad may absorb the excess sweat attributed to medical disorders such as fever, lymphoma or stress and prevent garments becoming stained thus providing an alternative to medical or surgical treatment.

Description

2. INVENTION DESRIPTION 2.1 The invention consists of a fabric pad, which
is worn by the user underarm to absorb the sweat and thus prohibit the sweat penetrating the user's clothing.
More specifically, the fabric pad consists of a thin permeated outer layer of fabric, with an adhesive rim allowing users to fix to skin of underarm, a cotton wool layer to its centre, with a thin layer of outer fabric which faces the item of clothing being worn.
2.2 It's application is by sticking the adhesive outer rim to the underarm skin of the user, prior to the wearing of the garment of clothing. The fabric pads are for disposable use, as and when required by the user. The fabric pad is to be manufactured in three sizes; small, medium and large, and be available either fragranced or not. Their application is for both male and females, with specific pads for each gender being produced.
2.3 DRAWING NO. 01 illustrates the make-up of the proposed invention, detailing each layer incorporated within the fabric pad, together with the identification of the outer rim self adhesive facility.
