Combined roses and jets; nozzles with cutoff devices. - Apparatus for spraying hops, fruit trees, &c. comprises a long spray rod a formed of concentric tubes h, b to the upper ends of which is fixed a nozzle p ; at the lower ends is a two-way cock s by means of which liquid is controlled and ejected either centrally or through the annulus, or through both. The inner tube h communicates with a passage formed in a disc m to give a jet, and the annulus communicates by passages o and a helical groove n in the disc m to a chamber p to give a diffused spray.
