Abstract
241,793. Hellwig, M. March 23, 1925. Bugs; parcel carriers. - A portable hold-all is formed from a travelling rug, plaid or the like and a walking- stick, umbrella or the like in conjunction with a supporting framework comprising a bar 1 having three yokes 2 secured thereto and a strap 6 forming a handle. Clamping and supporting 'bars 7, 7 extend along the lower inner edges of the yokes, and the dis. tance between them can be adjusted by a screw 9. To form the hold-all a folded end of the rug &c. is passed between the clamping bars, and a stick &c. S inserted in the fold, so that it forms a frictional support for the rug &c. Articles to be packed therein are then assembled in the space 12, Fig. 3, and the lateral portions of the rug turned inwardly thereon. The part 10 of the rug which now consists of three folds is turned on itself towards the carrier and secured by straps 15, 16.
