Abstract
241,121. Ewart, S., and Ewart, J. W. May 18, 1925. Flues. - Relates to downdraught baffles for geysers, of the kind in which a casing b surrounds and encloses the open top of the flue pipe a, above which is supported a sheet-metal baffle g of inverted cone form, the lower portion of the casing b being open to the atmosphere and its upper end being in connection with a discharge pipe c in alignment with the pipe a, and consists of forming the casing b with a gutter e which receives the liquid of condensation which is deposited upon and runs down the inner surface of the casing b, a pipe f extending from the gutter e to the pipe a so as to direct the liquid of condensation into the latter.
