Abstract

240,937. Jung, A. J. July 15, 1924. Needle-point couplings. - Temporary connection of an electric lamp or other device to any point in a flexible conductor is effected by a block A, to which the leads E E<1> of the lamp are connected, having open recesses A<1> provided with needle points for engagement with the conductors D, D<1>. A boss B adapted to be inserted between the conductors D. D<1> is provided with shoulders B<1> which press the conductors D, D<1> on to the needle points under the action of a spring B<4> on the sliding rod B<2> screwed into the boss B as shown. The needle points may be formed in one with the screws G<1> securing the leads E, E<1>.
