Abstract
A combination cabinet includes a bottom plate (10), two frames (20), two side plates (30), a top plate (40), a rear plate (50), at least two opposite separation bars (60), and at least one separation plate (70). Thus, the parts of the combination cabinet are combined in a snapping or insertion locking manner, so that the combination cabinet is assembled without aid of hand tools, thereby facilitating a user assembling the combination cabinet.
Description
COMBINATION CABINET ASSEMBLED WITHOUT AID OF TOOLS
The present invention relates to a combination cabinet, and more particularly to a combination cabinet that is assembled without aid of hand tools, such as screwdrivers or hex wrenches.
s A conventional combination cabinet comprises a plurality of plates or boards that are assembled and combined with each other so as to form the combination cabinet. All of the plates of the combination cabinet are detached before use, thereby decreasing costs of package, transportation and storage. In addition, the plates ofthe combination cabinet are assembled by users, thereby decreasing costs of assembly. However, the user needs to assemble the combination cabinet with aid of hand tools, such as screwdrivers or hex wrenches, thereby causing inconvenience to the user in assembly of the combination cabinet.
In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a combination cabinet, comprising: a bottom plate having two ends each formed with a bent locking portion; two frames each mounted on the bottom plate and each having a bottom rail detachably inserted into and locked in the respective locking portion of the bottom plate; two side plates each mounted between the two frames and each having two ends each formed with a bent locking portion detachably locked on a side rail of a respective one of two frames; a top plate mounted between the two frames and the two side plates and having two ends each formed with a bent locking portion detachably locked on a top rail of a respective one of the two frames.
The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a combination cabinet that is assembled without aid of hand tools, such as screwdrivers or hex wrenches.
10Another objective of the present invention is to provide a combination cabinet, wherein the parts of the combination cabinet are combined in a snapping or insertion locking manner, so that the combination cabinet is assembled without aid of ordinary hand tools, such as screwdrivers or hex wrenches, thereby facilitating a user assembling the combination scabinet.
A further objective of the present invention is to provide a combination cabinet, wherein the parts of the combination cabinet are combined rigidly and stably, so that the combination cabinet has an enhanced strength.
Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.
In the drawings: Fig. l is a perspective view of a combination cabinet in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention; Fig. 2 is an exploded perspective view of the combination cabinet as s shown in Fig. 1; Fig. 3 is a plan cross-sectional view of the combination cabinet taken along line 3-3 as shown in Fig. 1; Fig. 4 is a plan cross-sectional view of the combination cabinet taken along line 4-4 as shown in Fig. 1; and lo Fig. 5 is a plan cross-sectional view of the combination cabinet taken along line 5-5 as shown in Fig. 1.
Referring to the drawings and initially to Figs. 1 and 2, a combination cabinet in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a bottom plate 10, two frames 20, two side plates 30, a top plate 40, a rear plate SO, at least two opposite separation bars 60, and at least one separation plate 70.
The bottom plate 10 has two ends each formed with an L-shaped bent locking portion 11 (see Fig. 5) and two opposite sides each formed with an upright stop portion 12 (see Fig. 4).
Each of the two frames 20 is mounted on the bottom plate 10. Each of the two frames 20 is a rectangular opened body having a bottom rail 22 (see Fig. 5) detachably inserted into and locked in the respective locking portion l l of the bottom plate l O. Each of the two frames 20 has a periphery formed with at least two opposite locking holes 21.
Each of the two side plates 30 is mounted between the two frames 20 and has two ends each formed with an L-shaped bent locking portion 31 (see Fig. 3) detachably locked on a side rail 24 of a respective one of two frames 20.
Each of the two side plates 30 has a lower end located outside of and rested on the respective stop portion 12 of the bottom plate l O as shown in Fig. 4.
The top plate 40 is mounted between the two frames 20 and the two side plates 30 and has two ends each formed with an L-shaped bent locking lo portion 42 (see Fig. 5) detachably locked on a top rail 26 of a respective one of the two frames 20 and two opposite sides each formed with an upright stop portion 41 (see Fig. 4) located outside of and rested on an upper end of a respective one of the two side plates 30 as shown in Fig. 4.
Each of the two separation bars 60 is mounted between the two frames 20 and has two distal ends each formed with an elastic insertion stub 61 inserted into and locked in the respective locking hole 21 of a respective one of the two frames 20 as shown in Fig. 3.
The separation plate 70 is mounted between the two side plates 30 and supported by the two separation bars 60. The separation plate 70 has a periphery formed with a plurality of bent resting portions 71 each rested on a respective one of the separation bars 60 as shown in Fig. 4.
The rear plate 50 is mounted on one of the two frames 20 and has a periphery formed with a plurality of bent resting edges 51 rested on the periphery of the respective frame 20 as shown in Fig. 5 and formed with at least two opposite through holes 52 each aligning with a respective one of the s locking holes 21 of the respective frame 20 to allow passage of the respective insertion stub 61 of a respective one of the separation bars 60 as shown in Fig. 3.
Accordingly, the parts of the combination cabinet are combined in a snapping or insertion locking manner, so that the combination cabinet is lO assembled without aid of ordinary hand tools, such as screwdrivers or hex wrenches, thereby facilitating a user assembling the combination cabinet. In addition, the parts of the combination cabinet are combined rigidly and stably, so that the combination cabinet has an enhanced strength.
Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred is embodiment(s) as mentioned above, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. It is, therefore, contemplated that the appended claim or claims will cover such modifications and variations that fall within the true scope of the invention.
