Abstract

The steam room 1 consists of a lid 11 and a tank 12 secured together by nuts and bolts. A water inlet 111 in the lid is connected to an extension pipe 2. The pipe extends into the tank with its outlet 21 located toward a bottom end 121 of the tank. The lid also has a heating pipe 16 secured to it. A water valve 17 is provided to guide hot water out of the tank.

Background of the Invention

Field of the Invention

This invention relates to a water supply system for a steam room of a coffee maker, and more particularly to a steam room with an extension pipe to supply cold water into the bottom of a tank directly.

Description of the Prior Art

A conventional coffee maker, as shown in FIG. 3, comprises a steam room 3, lo which includes a lid 3 l, a tank 32 being secured to the lid 31 by means of bolts and nuts, and an O-ring 33. The lid 31 has a water inlet 311 and a heating pipe 34 extending from the lid 31 into the tank 32. The tank 32 has a bottom end 321 and a water valve 35 to guide hot water out. The water supply system of this design is to drain cold water through the water inlet 3 l 1 into the tank 32,and then heated by Is the heating pipe 34 to rise and drain out through the water valve 35. The cold water from the water inlet 311 is also guided into the tank 32 and mixed with the hot water. This lowers the temperature of the hot water and affects the coffee brewing.

In view of this, the inventor has derived the present invention to provide a coffee maker with the cold water drained direct into the bottom of the tank to avoid direct mixing with the hot water.

Summary of the Invention

It is the primary object of the present invention to provide a water supply system to a steam room of a coffee maker, which increases the temperature of hot water to brew coffee to the best result.

It is another object of the present invention to provide a water supply system to s a steam room of a coffee maker, which saves energy.

It is a further object of the present invention to provide a water supply system to a steam room of a coffee maker, which is easy to maintain.

Detailed Description of the Preferred Embodiment

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the present invention comprises a steam room 1 with a lid 11 and a tank 12 being secured by bolts 13 and nuts 14 along with a gasket 15 to the lid 11. The lid 11 comprises a water inlet 111 and a heating pipe 16 extending into the tank 12. The heating pipe 16 is secured with the lid 11 by nuts 112. The tank 12 has a bottom end 121 and a water valve 17 to guide hot water out therefrom.

The water inlet 111 is connected with an extension pipe 2 having an outlet 21, which extends into the tank 12 close to the bottom end 121 of the tank 12.

In operation, the cold water drains from the water inlet 111 through the extension pipe 2 and into the bottom end 121 of the tank 12, as shown in FIG. 2, without direct mixing with the hot water in the tank 12. The cold water is then heated by the heating pipe 16 and risen to the top of the tank 12, and is finally guided out through the water valve 17.

1. I CLAIM: 1. A water supply system for a steam room of a coffee maker

   comprising a steam room with a lid and a tank being secured to said lid by bolts and nuts, said lid comprising a water inlet and said tank comprising a bottom end thereof, said water inlet comprising an extension pipe having a water outlet extending into said tank close to said bottom end thereof.
