Clips, band.-The flexible diaphragm member of a dry gasmeter is secured at its edge to the usual metal rim by means of one or more closely-coiled springs A, the ends of which are joined by screwed elements D of the same pitch as the coils of the springs. The screwed elements may consist either of solid plugs or of stiff coiled springs of less diameter than the springs A.
