Abstract
A loudspeaker system is described for multi-channel digital audio inputs having a digital signal processing system with one or more internal system clocks, driving an array of more than five acoustic output-transducers, the whole being capable of producing two or more independently steerable beams of sound, the sound in each beam independently corresponding to the content of one channel only or a combination of two or more of the channels of the digital audio inputs, and linear output drivers to drive the acoustic output transducers.
