Roll cases.-Axial creep of rolled material, e.g. velvet, &c. is prevented and the edges of the same protected by members 6 resiliently pressed against the ends of the roll by springs 7 carried by the members 6 or by the ends of the containing box 3. The members 6 are preferably of the same shape as the box ends.
