Abstract

A self adhesive circular disc, which is intended to cover a nipple of a female sunbather and may comprise a UV filtering foil and be formed with a slit which runs along its radius to enable the disc to be formed into the shape of a cone. The disc may be disposable and attached to easy-peel backing paper prior to the sunbathing session.

r Nipple Discs Background and Product Description
Personal vanity is on the increase in the UK and the widespread availability of fashion media has highlighted what have become known as 'fashion faux pas.' One of these 'fashion faux pas' is when females have uneven tan lines in the summer months. This is a result of women who choose not to sunbathe topless, hence leaving white lines on the upper body where their swimming costume/ bikini has been worn. These white strap lines are fully revealed when the woman wears her normal clothing such as vests and strappy tops.
As women's clothing has become more revealing and 'skimpy' the only part of the female breast which is seen as indecent today is the nipple. The Nipple Disc is designed for women who do not wish to fully reveal their breasts whilst sunbathing but desire an overall upper body tan. The Nipple disc allows women to sunbathe, whether on the beach, in the park or the garden, with adjustable foil W filter cones which are placed over the nipples, providing an even tan for the remainder of the upper body. The Nipple Disc provides both health benefits (through protecting the nipple from harmful rays) and fashion benefits (through gaining an even tan) to the user. The Nipple Disc is self adhesive and adjustable to fit any nipple size. The product is disposable after each sunbathing session and is made from W filter foil. The self adhesive circumference of each disc allows the transformation of the disc into a cone and lightly sticks the product to the breast.

Claims (1)

  1. Claim 1. Attached to easy-peel backing paper, the Nipple Disc is
    disposable and comes in flat form, with a slit that runs along its radius, allowing the disc to form into a cone, wherein the Nipple Disc is made from UV filter foil and has a self adhesive circumference on the reverse, which holds the cone in shape and lightly secures the Nipple Disc to the breast.
