Abstract

A conventional style microwave oven replaces a conventional gas boiler in a central heating system. It avoids the need to be fixed to an external wall with the conventional systems gas extraction equipment. It can be used in areas that are not connected to mains gas, but have mains electricity supply.

Background: The Microwave Central Heating System uses a
conventional type 'Microwave oven' to replace the more conventional gas, oil or solid fuel boiler used in other systems.
The problems that this system hopes to overcome are: À To provide a more efficient means of Central heating, especially for those not connected to mains gas.
To cut down on pollution in residential areas by reducing carbon monoxide emissions.
À To increase competition in the central heating market.
À To give people a more convenient method of sighting a central heating 'boiler' as this system does not need to be attached to an external wall with emissions control.
Page 2 shows a block diagram of the system.

    To cut down on pollution in by reducing carbon monoxide emissions. À To increase competition in the central heating market.
    À The ability to site a central heating 'boiler' in a position that is not dictated by an external wall.
    À An alternative method of central heating especially for those not connected to mains gas.
