238,875. Monge, L. de. Aug. 25, 1924, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Act]. Spring wheels.-The hub 3 and rim 2 of a wheel are connected by elastic cords, coiled springs or the like. In the form shown in Fig. 1, the connection comprises bands arranged side by side, each. band being formed of a single cord 5 carried alternately over bolt members at the hub and rim. Discs 8. fitted on the hub at each side of the wheel, are pressed on the rim sides by springs 9 and adjustable collars 10. The discs are fitted with linings 11. The bolt 13 over which the cords pass at the hub is eccentrically carried on its bearings and can be turned by means of a key to grip the cords between the bolt and the hub. In the modification shown in Fig. 3, independent elastic members 7 are fitted.
