SEAT FOR RECEIVING WOOD WORKING TOOLS
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a working tool seat, and more particularly to a seat for receiving wood working tools.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
In the current processing of wooden products, processors would take advantage of all kinds of wood working tools to have logs processed to accomplish works. While conducting a processing, the variety of wood working tools, however, often causes scattered tools and brings inconvenience to those processors that consequently will not help raise the working efficiency; having all kinds of working tools garnered in one tool box may improve the existing drawback, but a disorderliness arising from having all tools put in the same box will also make the Ending a time-consuming task that would never promote the working efficiency.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The primary object of the present invention is to provide a seat for receiving wood working tools to lead to a centralized custody of the tools that would be unlikely to influence the working efficiency as a result of scattered tools.
The secondary objective of the present invention is to provide a seat for receiving wood working tools which features a simple structure design as well as a convenient use.
To achieve the aforesaid objectives, the seat adapted to receive wood working tools comprises a seat body and a receiving body. The seat body has a hollow room and two through holes passed through two opposite sides of the seat body. The bottom end of the receiving body is connected to the seat body while on the top end there sets a receiving hole which is communicated to the hollow room of the body. The receiving body is provided at the lateral periphery thereof with a plurality of hollowed portions and a plurality of spring members respectively disposed in the receiving hole corresponding in location to the hollowed portions so as to secure the tool handle of the wood working tool that is inserted by way of the receiving hole.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of a preferred embodiment of
. the present invention.
FIG. 2 shows a front view of the preferred embodiment of the present invention.
FIG. 3 shows a sectional view of the preferred embodiment of the present invention.
FIG. 4 is a schematic view showing four seats are assembled on two posts in using.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
As shown in FIGS. 1-3, a seat 10 of a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a seat body 11 and a receiving body 21.
The seat body 11 is shaped like a flat semi-circular body with its inside having a hollow room 12. Two through holes 14 pass through the opposite sides of the seat body 11.
The receiving body 21 is shaped like a cylinder with its bottom end to be integrally connected to the seat body 11. The top end of the receiving body 21 has a receiving hole 22, which is communicated to the hollow room 12 of the seat body 11, for receiving the handle of a wood working tool (not shown in the drawing). The receiving body 21 is
provided at the lateral periphery thereof with three hollowed portions 24.
Three spring members 31 are respectively disposed in the receiving hole 22 corresponding in location to the hollowed portions. Each spring member 31 has one end connecting to the top edge of the respective hollowed portion 24 and an opposite end thereof extending towards the interior of the seat body 11.
. As shown in FIG. 4, when used, the handle 41 of a wood working tool 40 can be inserted directly into the receiving hole 22 of the receiving body 21, thus pushing the spring member 31 to move outwards and towards the hollowed portion 24 of the receiving body 21 such that the spring force of the spring member 31 will clamp the handle 41 of the wood working tool 40, thereby securing said working tool 40 in the seat 10. For an intended use of the tool 40, just draw out the tool 40 directly from the receiving body 21 of the seat 10. The present invention takes advantage of two posts 50 to pass through the two through holes 14 on the seat body 11, thus enabling the seat 10 to be held between the two posts 50 to help setting up more seats 10 provided for inserting a variety of wood working tools 40.
It is to be mentioned that the seat 10 composed of the seat body 11 and the receiving body 21 is integrally manufactured by a processing of compression casting, thus being able to lower the production cost and highly raise the production efficiency.
The advantages of the present invention are described hereunder.
1. Convenience to garner different kinds of wood working tools: the present invention can be employed by arranging multiple assembly for use to achieve a purpose of a centralized custody of all kinds of wood working tools.
2. A simple structure design and convenience to use: by means of the clamping effectiveness of each spring member, the present invention enables a direct inserting of a wood working tool on the seat to bring an effect of fixedness. For an intended use, it's quite convenient to just draw out the tool directly from the receiving body.
