Abstract

The invention relates to a master cylinder comprising a master piston (2), which is driven by an actuating lever (4), and comprising an energy accumulator (11), which is actively connected to said actuating lever. The pressure matching unit (15) operates via a mechanical retention system. The energy accumulator is also actively connected to the pressure matching unit, which varies the energy inside the energy accumulator according to a fluid pressure.
