Abstract

This invention relates to gaming apparatus and a gaming method. More particularly, but not exclusively, this invention relates to horse race gaming apparatus and a method of simulating horse races. The apparatus consists of storage means for storing a number of computer generated racing objects. Each of the racing objects have inherent attributes assigned by a computing means. Receiving means receives race performance influencing information before the start of a race and the computing means simulates a race between at least two racing objects. An outcome of the race is computed using at least some of race influencing information and the inherent attributes of the racing objects.

Description

(57) This invention relates to gaming apparatus and a gaming method. More
particularly, but not exclusively, this invention relates to horse race gaming apparatus and a method of simulating horse races. The apparatus consists of storage means for storing a number of computer generated racing objects. Each of the racing 9\ objects have inherent attributes assigned by a computing means. Receiving means receives race performance influencing information before the start of a race and the computing means simulates a race between at least two racing objects. An outcome of the race is computed using at least some of race influencing information and the inherent attributes of the racing objects.
