Hinges.-A hinge for connecting the sliding windows of the parent Specification with a balancing-lever 2 has a coupling eye 4 provided on one wing 5 and the other wing 6 is bent at a right angle and attached to the lower edge of the window. The coupling eye is engaged by a head 1 on the balancing-lever.
