Abstract

The device relates to current, voltage and/or power detectors. In a particular embodiment, the device comprises a body portion (3) housing current monitoring circuitry and further including protruding terminals (1, 2) to enable the device to be positioned in a fuse holder of a circuit to be monitored and to replace a protecting fuse of the circuit. The device further includes a fuse (1) which is suitably rated so as to protect the circuit. The current monitoring device within the body portion (3) is arranged to monitor current flow to the circuit in a non-invasive manner. The device provides an extremely simple and effective means for current monitoring in a circuit.
