Abstract

A mobile telephone handsfree system consisting of a wireless earpiece (23) which is communicated to via a radio transmitter (22), the radio transmitter being either part of a mobile telephone (3) or a separate unit. The microphone (21) is connected to the telephone via a short wire. There is also a claim for adjusting the transmitting distance of the transmitter to prevent eavesdropping.

Description

2361827 TITLE: HANDSFREE STRUCTURE OF A MOBILE PHONE WITH A WIRED
MICROPHONE AND A WIRELESS SPEAKER COMBINATION
BACKGROUND OF THE RON
1. Field of the Invention
The present invention is related to a handsfree structure of a mobile telephone having a wired microphone, a radio twsmitter and a wireless speaker combination, and especially to a handsfree structure of a mobile telephone, wherein, the signals received from a mobile telephone are transmitted wirelessly to the wireless speaker, so that the mobile telephone can be used more conveniently.
2. Description of the Prior Art
Mobile telephones are popularly used as a result of progression and flourishing development of science and economies. Presently, however, such products of science and technology have the following defects:
1. A user may use one hand to hold the mobile telephone when he is driving a car; this is unsafe driving practice.
2. A busy user must stop his work temporarily to make his hands free to answer a phone call.
3. A telephone set may be very close to the head of a user when using the mobile phone; electromagnetic waves generated by the mobile phone may be hamifid to the brain of the user.
In view of these defects, some manufacturers provide wired a handsfree device for mobile telephones which do not need to be picked up in 5 cornrnunicaflon. This can remove the above stated defects, however, as Fig. 1 shows, such a product needs a wire 11 to connect with the mobile phone 12, a microphone 13 and a speaker 14 for receiving a message. These require the user to have wires on his body and the user feels uncomfortable, unseemly and inconvenient when in motion. The handsfree devices thus are not ideal.
3 SLIN2vLkRY OF THE INVEI'MON Therefore, the primary object of the present invention is to provide a handsfree structure of a mobile telephone having a wired microphone and a i,-ireless speaker combination. Whereir the ivireless speaker combinatim is miniature and adapted for placing in or hanging on an ear. The wired microphone and the wire can be hidden in clothes. The radio umm-tter and the microphone are connected to the output and input ends of the mobile telephone respectively; and the signals received from the mobile phone are transmitted to the wireless speaker combination by the radio transmitter.
Thereby, it is not necessary for the user of the mobile telephone to hold'ihe telephone set. This can increase safety in car driving or can render the hands of the user free to deal with other matters.
Another object of the present invention is to hide the wire of the wired microphone in clothes, or to provide a very short wire for the microphone so that the microphone can be closely attached to the radio transmitter, thus enabling the received signals to be transmitted wirelessly. Thereby, the situation that a user is tangled with a wire can be avoided, so that motion of the user can continue without a hindrance.
The present invention will be apparent in its novelty and features after reading the detailed description of the preferred embodiment thereof in
4 reference to the accompanying drawings.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
Fig. 1 is a schematic view showing use of a conventional handsfree; Fig. 2 is a perspective schematic view of the first embodiment of the present invention; Fig. 3 is a block diagrarn of circuit of the first embodiment of the present invention; Fig. 4 is a schematic view showing use of the second embodiment of the present invention.
6 DETAELED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODINIENT
Referring to Figs. 2 and 3 simultaneously, the present invention is comprised mainly of a wired microphone 2 1, a radio transmitter 22 and a wireless speaker combination comprised of a radio receiver 23 and a speaker 24. Wherein, the wireless speaker combination is miniature and adapted for placing in or hanging on an ear. The wired microphone 21 is cormected to the input end 31 of a nonnal mobile telephone 3. The radio tra=fitter 22 is connected to the output end 32 of the mobile telephone. Thereby, when in use, the user can transrnit voice signals to the mobile telephone 3 via the wired n-ficrophone 2 1, the received signals from the mobile telephone 3 are linked to the radio transmitter 22.. then the radio transmitter 22 tansmits them to the radio receiver 23 and the rniniature speaker 24. Thereby, it is not necessary for the user to hold the telephone set itself This can increase convenience of using the mobile telephone 3.
As shown in Fig. 4 depicting the second embodiment of the present invention, when in use, the user can hang the mobile telephone 3 on his waist (or place it in a pocket or at a position near him), then he can connect the radio transmitter 22 with the mobile telephone 3 and put the wireless speaker combination in one of his ears (or hang it on the ear), and then connect the wired microphone 21 with'the mobile telephone 3. The wire of the 7 microphone 21 is hidden in clothes; thereby, the situation that a user is tangled with a wire can be avoided, and an object of radio connection without necessity of picking up the mobile telephone 3 in cornmunication can be achieved.
The above stated radio transmitter 22 can also be built in the mobile telephone 3. The adequate distance between the radio tmnnitter and the wireless speaker is 1-3 meters. Therefore, the required power of transmitting the radio transmitter 22 can be quite small, which renders the volume of the radio t-ansmitter 22 to be minimized in favor of carrying. The microphone 21 can be higIAy sensitive, and can work when it is more than 10 cm from the mouth of the user, thereby enabling it to be bidden in clothes.
Alternatively, the microphone can be built into the radio twmiitter.
In conclusion, the present invention has at least the following advantages:
1. A user does not need to hold the mobile telephone with a band when he is driving a car; this is beneficial for driving safety.
2. A busy user can make his hands free to deal with other matters, thus convenience is increased.
3. A user feels comfortable and seemly in usingr the bandsfree as compared to other wired hand8frees in the market.
8 Having thus described my invention which is novel and practical, what 1 claim as new and desire to be secured by Letters Patent of the Uffited States are:
