Abstract
A first unit A stores the identity of equipment (e.g. vehicle) to which the unit is attached and transmits it in scrambled digitally coded form to a second unit B (e.g. hand-held) which unscrambles it and compares the identity with a database of identities (stolen equipment) and actuates a display in the event of a match. The system enables a vehicle to be stopped.
Description
1 2361342 Please note - 1C2CU and 1C21DU are ONE invention They are
reliant on each other le. The 1C2CU is the Transmitter/Receiver & 1C21DU is the Receiver/ Transmitter.
Description.
A.IC2CU.
B. 1 C 2 1 D U.
A. The 1C2CU is an apparatus for identification purposes connect to a mobile telephone unit It consists of:a. A circuit board or C111P and/or ROM andlor RAM and /or EEPROM and/or erasable-non erasable and/or changeable programmable unit and /or mobile telephone b. a power circuit B. The 1C21DU is a transmitter / receiving unit. It consists of: a. A receiver/transmitter & decoder circuit. b. EEPROM memory. c. A comparitor and or memory unit. d. A display screen.
e. A power supply.
A. 1.
a. 1C2CU, is an electronic circuit board or chip or ROM or RAM or EEPROM or erasable- non erasable or changeable and/or programmable unit andlor mobile telephone unit. This device will be digitally programmable with a unique identification number corresponding to the vehicle, article or equipment to which it is attached This could be a serial number, ID number or client specific number.
The IC2CU circuit unit, will be designed to be attached to the equipment 1 vehicle or article needing identification, securely, or imbedded into the chasis / carcas of the said equipment.
Connected electronically to the chip or ROM or RAM or EEPROM or erasablenon erasable, changeable programmable unit will be a transmitting device and/or mobile telephone unit. This tnuismitter will emit the codes which have been pre-progranuned into the circuit board or chip or ROM or RAM or EPROM or erasable-non erasable, changeable and or programmable unit or communicate via the mobile telephone network.
1 This unit will transmit a programmed serial 1 identification / registration number to be specified, in digital format. The signal will be a low power transmission or mobile telephone communication interface. The coding will be protected and scrambled. Transmission will be a digital ( binary), array, code of numbers, which identify the vehicle / article to which the receiving (IC21DU), unit.
The power to drive the unit and it's sub-circuits, will be fed from a source and protected to surge by volt regulators & 1 or step up -down transformers/ regulators - B. The 1C21DU will consist of a.
A hand held or fixed receiver unit and 16r mobile telephone. The receiver, the 1C21DU will collect the signal transmitted by the ID2W unit and decode the binary scrambled code received andlor digital data. The received signal will compared the received ID data with a list of ID's stored in the units data base and in the event that a received ID corresponds to a data base ID, a signal will be generated indicating the event on the panel 's display.
b. The EEPROM will store the program which will drive the logic of the IC21DU.
This EEPROM will have a fixed pro scrambled, to inteffice with 1C2CU units and read the ID's transmitted. The EEPROM will initiate the search of the memory data base.
C.
Software will be used to compare that received with the data that has been downloaded and stored into the systems data base. Nfatching two sets of numbers, an alarm will be generated and a message will be displayed on the units screen panel.
d.
The screen will be either a flat panel display, green background, or an LCD TFT unit.
Power will be supplied from source and Volt regulators will be used in the circuit to eliminate any possible surges.
Claims (1)
- Claims. The IC2CU 1 IC21DU is an identification apparatus. It has been designed for the sole purpose of identifying: Equipment 1 Vehicles / Tracking 1 Monitoring and checking for stolen or rogue articles/ motor vehicles. The 1C2CU circuit will be mounted internally of the Vehicle 1 Equipment and transmit a continues digital scrambled pulse and /or be able to be interogated by the IC2IDU unit. This digital pulse will be received by the IC21DU unit and will be able to identify the scrambled pulse as a digital number. This digital number when compared with a digital number stored in a data base in 1C21DUs memory will verify the authenticity of the first number being transmitted by the IC2CU, and subsequently the details of the equipment 1 and or vehiclels,trucks/vans/lorrys etc. This method of tracking will: a. Allow for quick and easy identification of stolen equipment / vehicles and or other. b. Allow or easy identification of equipment. c. Allow for quick and easy verification of equipment & road vehicles. d. Allow for the rogue vehicle to be stopped safely and quickley when the IC2CU unit is electronically connected into the wiringicircuitry of the offending article / equipment.
