Abstract

The present invention is directed to an aeration assembly (1) for connection to a tractor, allowing aeration holes and crevasses to be farmed into the ground. The aeration assembly also allows for a trailing mowing assembly (7) to be connected to the rear of the aeration assembly (1) for the purpose of scattering and distributing surface matter resulting from aeration, as well as any mowing function. The preferred coupling arrangement allows connection of the aeration and mowing assembly using standard mounting points already present on the mowing assembly. Ideally also the aeration assembly (1) can be raised clear of the ground while the trailing assembly remains in ground contact.
