Abstract

The personal items alarm has a control unit which detects when one or more of its coded alarm sensors attached to personal items has gone out of range of the control unit. The range will be approximately 4 metres distance. Each sensor has a transmitter/receiver which communicates with a transmitter/receiver in the control unit.

Technical field:- This invention relates to portable alarms which can be attached to personal items.
Background:- The personal items alarm is designed to be attached on or in personal items such as luggage, bags, clothing, wallets, indeed any personal item that could be easily forgotten, lost, or stolen at any time.
Essential technical features:- According to the present invention, the personal items alarm will consist of a key fob sized control unit, with a built in coded transmitter, receiver, which will control the small alarm sensors also with built in transmitter receiver units.
Example. A specific embodiement of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings in which Fig. 1 shows the key fob sized control unit, with proposed control buttons & lights.
Fig 2:- shows the alarm sensors and various ways of attaching them to personal items.

  1. Claims
    1 A personal items alarm comprising of a key fob sized unit control box powered by a battery which will control either a single alarm sensor, or multiple coded alarm sensors, which will also be powered by batteries.
