Abstract

The device is arranged to warn a driver of a vehicle that he is about to fall asleep. It includes a mercury or steel ball which rolls to make contact with two contact plates and set off an audible alarm.

Description

The mercury/steel ball rolls forward to make contact with the two contact plates, thus setting off an audible alarm to warn the driver that was about to fall asleep.
It may be worth considering the degree of tilt required to set off the device, IE ; The less tilt required the earlier the warning would be!

  1. THE CLAIMS-KEY FACTS WHEN THERE IS A FORWARD OR SIDEWAYS MOVEMENT OF THE HEAD A BALL OF STEEL/MERCURY OPERATED FROM A TILT SWITCH ROLLS FORWARD TO TOUCH A CONTACT PLATE WHICH SETS OFF AN ALARM.
