Abstract

A ring-like support member (10), over which the mouth of a bin bag or refuse sack or the like can be draped, can be attached to an elongate element (14) in two dispositions so as to provide either a scoop (Fig. 3) or an upright receptacle (Fig.4). The ring-like member (10) has a handle (12) which in one disposition of attachment extends substantially in alignment with the elongate element (14) and in the other disposition of attachment extends laterally therefrom, at an angle thereto. The attachment is achieved in a particularly simple and reliable manner, without the use of any additional fasteners, in that the elongate element (14) has at or adjacent one end, at least two apertures through which the handle (12) is capable of projecting. One aperture is between two cross-piece (22,24) and the second aperture is beyond cross-piece (22).
