Hooks 5 for supporting chains 1 from which electroliers are suspended are made hollow to accommodate the electric wires 15 and have a hole at the, point where the first chain link rests to allow the wires to pass from the hook into the chain links, which are also hollow. The hooks may be of tubular or of channel section.
