Abstract
A plastic teething device automatically plays a tune when a child bites the device.
Description
This invention relates to:
Vibrating Teething Ring or Baby Gum Soother.
(1) The invention will be made of more than one material, i.e, plastic rubber, metal.
(2) The object of the invention is to soothe the babies gums when teething.
(3) The sketch shows the approximate size. A prototype (being made) will decide this.
(4) It will operated by:
(A) Batteries with wires and motor
(B) Compresses air (optional).
(5) It will be small enough to fit inside a babies mouth (comfortably).
(6) It will and must be watertight.
(7) It may have to have a re-chargeable battery.
(8) There will not be a switch on the invention, it will be activated (when pressure is applied), by means of a small micro switch.
(9) The invention will be made in two halves, with plastic welded together, so, if a fault occurs it cannot be repaired.
(10) The shape may differ (if necessary) after testing has been done with the prototype.
(11) The thickness will depend on how small the component will be made i.e motor and micro switches.
Claims (7)
1. The device is designed to be used by teething babies.
2. It will be made of plastic and very brightly coloured.
3. It is designed to operate automatically, when a child bites the device.
4. It will play tune automatically when a child bites the device.
5. The housing will have open grips, sized to accommodate a child hand.
6. One half of the device will be waterproof as it will stand in a container
(upright), for sterilisation and to stop saliva entering the device.
7. An illustration will be supplied to explain the concept.
