Abstract

A spider inhibitor for a bath or sink outlet is a circular nylon or plastic ring with a fingerlift bar across the centre (for ease of inserting and extracting) covered over with wiremesh embedded into the nylon or plastic. The inhibitor also acts to prevent the outlet becoming blocked by materials carried by the out-flowing water.

Description

SPIDER INHIBITER 1. THE SPIDER INHIBITER IS DESIGNED FOR TWO PURPOSES.
THE FIRST PART IS TO PREVENT HIDEOUS SPIDERS AND INSECTS FROM GETTING INTO BATHE, SINKS, W.H. BASINS VIA OUTSIDE PIPES. EITHER UP THROUGH WASTE UNITS OR THROUGH OVERFLOW OUTLETS.
2. FOR THE SECOND PART IT PREVENTS WASTE TRAPS BECOMING BLOCKED FROM DIFFERENT MATERIALS BEING PUSHED OR CARRIED BY MATER INTO THE WASTETRAP CAUSING BLOCKAGES, WHICH CAN BE EXPENSIVE TO CLEAR.
TECHNICAl, SPECIFICATION THE SPIDER INHIBITER IS CONSTRUCTED OF NYLON/PLASTIC AND WIRE MESH.
THE INHIBITER CONSISTS OF A PERIMF.rER RING WITH A DIAMETER (O.D.) OF 1 3/8" x 1/8" x 1/8" WITH 1/16" THICK FINGEMIFT ,AR ACROSS THE CENTRE, ALL MADE FROM NYLON/PLASTIC.
THE INHIBITER IS COVERED WITH WIRE MESH AND HAS 1/16" x 1/16" sQUARE HOLES.
THE MESH IS EMBEDDED INTO THE NYLON/PLASTIC.

1. A CIRCULAR NYLON/PLASTIC RING WITH CENTRE BAR,COVERED WITH WIRE MESH.
2. THE INHIBITER FITS BETWEEN THE WASTE UNIT, BARS AND THE PLUG AS SHOWN IN FIG 3. ON DRAWING.
3. THE INHIBITER FITS IN THE END OF THE OVERFLOW PIPE AS SHOWN IN FIG
