Condensers.-In order to reduce risk of insulation breakdown due to transverse electric oscillations set up by disturbances such as atmospheric discharges in condensers of the roll type employed in telephonic apparatus, the terminal strips 5 of the condensers 7 are passed completely through the roll, and the projecting ends are connected as shown to form closed loops in which the oscillations referred to neutralize each other. When several condensers are arranged in parallel, the ends 5, 6 of the terminal strips are joined into common loops 10, Fig. 5, to which the external leads are connected.
