Abstract

229,554. Edwards, H. June 30, 1924. Bricks, special shapes of.-A brickwork flue passage is constructed by superimposing, alternately and in stepped formation, bricks b having the whole of one face b<1> inclined to the vertical plane, and bricks c having a part c' of one face so inclined. The inclined faces are arranged in alignment. To increase the width of the passage, one or more bricks b may be interposed between the bricks c. Grouting-slots are provided in the ends of the bricks.
