Abstract

A lock for a door or the like having a dead lock assembly which comprises a bolt (41) and a drive mechanism (53, 54) adapted to be operated by a key, wherein the drive mechanism comprises a driving link (46), arranged to be driven by a lever (54) actuated by the key and arranged in turn to drive the bolt, and means (56) for transferring the drive from the driving link (46) to the bolt (41) in such a manner that the movement or throw of the bolt is increased to the displacement of the driving link (46). <IMAGE>
