Abstract

A ploughshare and furrow for a plough are described, the furrow comprising a ploughshare (1, 23) and a mouldboard, and at least one soil disruption member (3) protruding from the share, the soil disruption member being arranged to impart a substantial degree of disruption to ploughed soil passing across the surface of the share and the mouldboard. Also disclosed is a method and means for converting existing furrows to the improved furrow. <IMAGE>
