Abstract

226,456. Larson, E. V., Lindeberg, H., and Eskilstuna Separator Aktiebolag. Aug. 16, 1924. Density separators. - A cream separator with liner plates 7 and a central sleeve with milk distributing passages 4 has an upper plate 8 with an enlargement 9. A ring 11 occupies the space in the enlargement between the passages 4 so that the lower surface of the plate has a similar shape to the upper surface of the liner plates and the cream therefore passes through a passage of uniform depth. One or more recesses are provided in the ring to fit over the projecting passages 4. The same effect can be obtained by making the upper plate of suitable shape without the enlargement, and providing it with recesses to fit over the projecting passages.
