Abstract
A toolbox has internal slots 12 for receiving partitions 2, which slots 12 correspond with projections between external grooves 13. The grooves 13 may cooperate with a rope for attaching the box to a support. <IMAGE>
Description
TOOLSOX BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
1. Field of the Invention
The invention relates to a toolbox which can have tools arranged in good order and can be steadily bound on shelves so as to be safely carried outside.
2. Description of the Prior Art
Machinists and troubleshooters ofter carry their portable toolboxes everywhere to repair troubled machines and to overhaul machines for their clients at regaular intervals. However toolboxes being known and used in general do not have adequate divisions in their inner spaces to place different tool separately so that machinists and troubleshooters can not help putting all kinds of tools together, which surely becoms very unconvenient for them to quickly picl. up a tool from a lots of mixed tools. Moreover, the walls of these known toolboxes are so smooth that they are hard to be firmly bound on shelves such as the rear shelves of the motorcycles and can be easily moved away from their original positions or even fallen down to the ground, especially when they are carried on the rough roads.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
Therefore, it is an object of the present invention to provide a toolbox whose wall is regularly interlaced by rectangular parallelpipeds and rectangular grooves side by side so that the wall can have more powerful strength than general toolboxes which have smnoth walls but does not have to increase any thickness. The rectangular parallelepipeds on the outer surface of the wall just form rectangular slots on the inner surface of the wall which can be inserted by some partition boards so as to divide the inner space of the toolbox into several smaller divisions in which different tools can be arranged well. Moreover, the rectangular grooves on the outer surface of the wall are good for a rope to bind the toolbox on shelves tightly.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
The invention will be better understood by reference to the accompanying drawings, wherein:
FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing the disassembling of a preferred embodiment of the present invention; and
FIG. 2 is a view showing the outer appearance of the preferred embodiment of the present invention.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Rs shown in FIG. 1 and 2, the present invention is concerned with a toolbox whose wall is casted to be a mono-form which is regularly interlaced by rectangular parallelepipeds 11 and rectangular grooves 13 side by side so that the shapes of the rectangular parallelepipeds 11 and the rectangular grooves 13 on the outer surface of the wall just form the opposite shapes on the inner surface of the wall. Therefore, the rectangular parallelepipeds 11 on the outer surface of the wall just form rectangular slots 12 on the inner surface of the wall, as shown in Fig. 1.Moreover, the wall of the toolbox 1 having the supporting of the rectangular parallelepipeds 11 and the rectangulat grooves 13 can have more powerful strength than general toolboxes which have smooth walls without increasing any thickness on the wall so that the toolbox 1 can be carried outside with ease.
The rectangular slots 12 which are on one side of the inner surface of the wall are just in parallel with the e rectangular slots 12 which are on n.- pposite side of the inner surface of the wall so that some partition boards 2 can be inserted between every two parallel rectangular slots 12 and thus divide the inner space of the toolbox 1 into several smaller divisions which can be adjusted according to the sizes of the required tools so as to arrange the tools in good order: therefore, machinists and troubleshooters can easily
and quickily pick up a tool from a lot of mixed tools.
Moreover, because the wall of the toolbox 1 is regularly interlaced by the rectangular parallelepipeds 11 and the rectangular grooves 13 side by side, a rope can be fixed on the rectangular grooves 13 so as to bind the toolbox 1 on shelves tightly. Therefore, no matter how rough a road may be, the bound toolbox 1 is firmly fixed on its original place and will not be fallen down to the ground.
While the preferred embodiments of there invention have been described above, it will be recognized and understood that various modifications may be made therein and the appended claims are intended to cover all such modifications which may fall within the spirit and scope of the invention.
