Abstract

A foldable decorative pad for flower pot which consists of a pot pad and a ribbon; the pot pad is substantially a plane sheet to be formed into a polygon pad with a plurality of folding lines and a plurality of holes, and the ribbon is inserted through the holes so as to fasten the pot pad into normal pot shape before mounting under and around a flower pot. <IMAGE>

Description

A Foldable Decorative Pad for A Flower Pot This invention relates to a foldable flower pot. Which can use as decorative pad.
In the conventional packing methods for a flower pot, the packing pads are usually made of aluminium fail, bamboo basket or plastic sheet for decoration purpose; however, such conventional packing materials are either taking more time (such as using alumiium fail) or costly (such as using plastic or bamboo material) aside from not providing better decorative nature; therefore, the consumers are not quite like them.
This invention relates to a foldable decorative pad for a flower pot, and comprises a pot pad and a ribbon. The pot pad is a plane sheet, being folded into a plurality of flower petals from the center portion thereof; the center of the pot pad is folded into a polygon, and the upper portion thereof is folded into radial petals. A ribbon (such as a silk ribbon) is to pass through holes on the pot pad, and to fasten the pot pad into pot shape for mounting under and around a flower pot.
A prime feature of the present invention is to provide a foldable flower pot pad, which can quickly be assembled into a pot pad for a flower pot; when the pot pad is not in use, it can be restored to a plane sheet form for storage convenience.
Another feature of the present invention is to provide a simple and beautiful foldable flower pot pad, which can be assembled into a vertical pot pad, being similar to a flower having a plurality of petals. The holes on the pot pad may be arranged into a spiral shape for novel decorative purpose.
An embodiment of this invention is described by way of example with reference to the drawings, in which: FIG.1 is a plane view of an embodiment according to the present invention.
FIG.2 is a perspective view of the present invention.
FIG.3 is another perspective view of the present invention upon being mounted around a flower pot.
FIG.4 is a top view of the present invention.
Referring to FIG.1, the present invention comprises a pot pad 10 and a ribbon 20 (made of silk or the like). The pot pad 10 is designed as a plurality of irregular flower petals; the center portion of the pot pad is formed into a polygon (such as a pentagon, hexagon, heptagon, or octagon....) with a plurality of bottom folding lines 101; the wall folding lines 102 are arranged in a radial form; the top portions 103 of the pot pad are arranged like a flower petals. Each of top portions 103 may have different height, or may be designed into different shapes to provide a natural and beautiful visual pleasure. The wall portion of the pot pad is provides with a plurality of holes 104 so as to let a ribbon 20 to pass through, and then both ends 201 and 202 of the ribbon 20 are tied into a knot to fasten around a pot pad tightly (as shown in FIG.2). An assembled pot pad 10 looks like a flower pot so as to facilitate a flower pot to put therein as shown in FIG.3. The pot pad 10 is mounted under and around a flower pot 30 as a decorative member. The holes 104 on the wall portion of the pot pad 10 may be varied in shape or arrangement to lack like a spiral curve viewed from the front or side thereof (as shown in FIG.4) for different beautiful visual pleasure. Since the ribbon 20 can fasten the pot pad quickly, it is helpful to the packing of the pot pad; therefore, the present invention is deemed a practical and economic disclosure.

Claims (1)

  1. Claim
    1. A foldable decorative pad for a flower pot comprising: a pot pad being substantialy a thin sheet, and the center portion of said pot pad having a plurality of folding lines in a radial form, and said pot pad having a plurality of holes; a ribbon being substantially a long lace; and said ribbon being inserted and passing through said holes so as to fasten said pot pad into a pot shape to mount under and around a flower pot.
