Abstract

Radar equipment which offers a display from which necessary reflected waves can be easily discriminated by removing undesired waves such as sea clutter in any display mode, and which further properly displays the tracks of other ships. The equipment comprises a receiving unit (1) that receives echo signals, a buffer memory (3) that temporarily stores reflected signals stemming from detect signals sent from the receiving unit, a first memory (8) which stores echo signals coming in many directions in the memory elements corresponding to the points on earth where the echo signals are generated, signal processing means (4) that processes signals output from the buffer memory and signals read out from the first memory, and sends the output signals to the first memory, a second memory (6) that stores the output signals of the correlation means in the corresponding memory elements determined by a display mode that has been set, and a display unit that displays signals read out from the second memory.
