Abstract

224,628. Sant, A. C. Aug. 24, 1923. Securing wheels &c. on shafts.-A pair of cranks 1 are secured to the hub 8 of a wheel, &c. by a pair of cylindrical sleeves 6 each of which is secured at right-angles to a crank at one end and has an inclined face 7 at the other, the sleeves extending into the hub 8 with their faces 7 abutting and being drawn axially towards each other by a screw-threaded spindle 10 extending co-axially through them so that the faces 7 over-ride one another and the ends of the sleeves form a locking engagement with the internal surface of the hub.
