Abstract

This invention provides a tire fitting apparatus which can fasten individually inner and outer tire rims on both sides of a wheel hub with weak force, does not need re-fastening and can easily fit and remove the tire. This apparatus includes an inner clamp (23) which comes into contact with an outer peripheral surface (5a) of the inner tire rim (5) and is anchored to an inner side plate (2) of the wheel hub (1) through fastening means (20, 21, 22) in order to push an anchor reception portion (6) at the outer peripheral end portion of the inner tire rim (5) to an anchor portion (3) at the inner peripheral surface portion of the wheel hub (1), a cylindrical support member (12) which is brought into contact with an anchored portion (11) at the inner peripheral end portion (9a) of an outer tire rim (9) and an outer clamp (19) which comes into contact with an outer peripheral end portion (12b) of a support membner (7) and is anchored to the outer side plate (7) of the wheel hub (19) through fastening means (16, 17, 18) in order to keep pressure-contact of the outer tire rim (9) with a spacer (10) between the inner and outer tire rims.
